On-Line Football Pool

Hey guys. I am probably going to be starting a pool similar to what 9798 did.

The only difference will be that I willl probably be running this as a fund-raiser for my local Rotary club.

That will mean that there will be hopefully a bunch more participants, but that means that the prize will probably be larger for the same $36 entry fee, and some of those participants will either forget about it halfway through the season and/or not be real great at picking teams anyways.

If you want to participate, send me a PM with the e-mail address where you want the invite sent to.

Entry fee is the same as last year. $36.

We are shooting for a minimum award of $100/week with a $200 end of season award.

Depending on how many we get, we may add a 2nd and 3rd place prize, instead of just increasing the first-place award. The more people you get in the more tie-breakers have to be used to declare a winner each week, and I feel like a close 2nd or 3rd place person deserves some recognition as well as some $$.

Deadline will be the Wednesday before the season starts. I think September 9. First game is Thursday, Sept. 10.

You can go ahead and get registered now with the site. Just make sure and get the $$ to me before then.

So I cheated again. 3rd straight year I managed to win a week, but it also looks like 1st place may elude me again. I'm in 2nd place by 1 point going into the last week.

Mr. Chris Denny has already handed the title to Danny Shrum in an email, but I want to take it this year. I finished 2nd and 3rd overall the last 2 years.

I think I've got it wrapped up, as HOU, GB, DAL, and BUF have taken me from down 1 to up 3. I never though I could catch up, but it looks like I did.
